Farmacêutica pela UFMG. Especialista em Gestão da Produção pela Universidade Federal de São Carlos e Mestre em Ciências Médicas pela UNB, com foco nas principais razões para o indeferimento de registro de medicamentos sintéticos no Brasil. Experiência nas áreas de produção e garantia da qualidade na indústria farmacêutica. Atualmente é especialista em regulação e vigilância sanitária na Agência Nacional de Vigilância Sanitária (ANVISA), atuando há mais de 8 anos na avaliação de tecnologia farmacêutica para o registro de medicamentos sintéticos. Foi integrante do grupo de trabalho da RDC nº 318/2019, de Estudos de Estabilidade de IFA e medicamentos sintéticos. Fez parte do programa Cientista Visitante (Visiting Scientist Program) na sede da United States Pharmacopeia (USP). É membro titular da ANVISA do grupo informal de revisão dos guias ICH Q1/Q5C.
